Well hello there! I'm Heather. I'm a southern girl originally from Georgia. There is no place I'd rather be than back home. I like "y'alls", buggies, taters, collard greens, fried chicken, monster truck rallies, country music and anything related to the good ole south.
I married my sweetheart in December of 2006 and we currently live in Utah. He is the man of my dreams and supports all of my crazy antics when it comes to thrifting, spray painting, and yard sale-ing. I'm pretty sure he wouldn't have it any other way though......I think he likes our cute house :)
I am the oldest of 4 children which I think naturally makes me a little more organized, more of a perfectionist, and much more obsessed with how things look. I have always cared about how my sock drawer looked, what cabinets looked like on the inside, color coding anything and everything, things being meticulously straight on a wall, and not having a crumb on my counter tops. So, the older I have gotten, having lived in small apartments to now owning a home of my own, I love creating spaces that make me feel good; that express who I am. I love finding someone else's junk, bringing it home, cleaning it up, maybe even squirting some spray paint and using it to decorate my home. It makes my heart sing. I'm a firm believer that my home will never be "finished". I change things up constantly. And it's probably safe to say I hit up a thrift store once a week. During the summer, my sweetheart goes yard sale-ing with me EVERY Saturday! I LOVE re-purposing stuff! And I love doing it for cheap.
